SCES Lunch & Recess Volunteers
Sligo Creek needs volunteers to help monitor our children during their lunch and recess hour. To volunteer, please click here.
SCES Grade Team Liaison
We are looking for parents to help support SCES teachers, and to help communication between parents and staff. Grade Liaisons will regularly meet with the lead teacher for the grade to discuss current studies, material and volunteer needs, and special projects. The Grade Liaison would then share information with the parents for that grade and coordinate getting needs fulfilled. One Liaison per grade would work but two per grade would be fabulous! Grade Liaisons are not intended to replace the Room-Parents who support a particular class. Grade Liaisons and Room-Parents will work together to make sure needs are met both at the classroom and the grade level. If you are interested in becoming a grade liaison, please contact Melissa Milkie at mmilkie@socy.umd.edu.
