Get Involved in the Classroom!˜ Become a Room Parent: volunteer within a classroom to support the class teacher. Help coordinate classroom volunteers, and parties such as Valentine's Day and End-of-School.
˜ Serve as Grade Liaison: work with Room Parents and Lead Teachers to coordinate support and communication at each gradee level. ˜ Be a Mentor for a 5th Grader: each year fith graders perform scientific experiments and present their results at the Science Fair/Expo. Parents help mentor a two-student team for one or more half-hour sessions. Mentoring is much like helping kids through a school assignment and doesn't require knowledge of scientific facts. The science teacher is on hand to help if needed. To sign up, click here. ˜ Bring in extras for the classroom: extra supplies and snacks contributed by parents are greatly appreciated by the school, and will be accepted throughout the year. ˜ Show your appreciation for our teachers and staff: Contribute to the Staff Holiday Gift Fund or to the regular PTA teacher appreciation events held through the year. | PTA Help Needed!PTA Book Fair
