Lunch & Recess Volunteers
Sligo Creek Elementary School needs parent-volunteers who can help monitor students during lunch and recess periods.
Currently the school only has 2-3 staff assigned to lunch and recess so the assistance of parent-volunteers is always greatly appreciated. While parents are welcome to assist with any lunch period (by coming to the school at any of the times below), volunteers are encouraged to sign up in advance so that as many slots can be covered as possible.
˜ To sign up, decide which lunch and recess period works for you and click on the time.
>> You will be redirected to an interactive calendar on VolunteerSpot.com and asked to confirm your e-mail. >> Once your e-mail is confirmed, please make your selection by clicking on any day with a yellow icon. >> You will be able to view information for the day you selected. Questions, Suggestions, or Looking for a Substitute?Please call Lunch / Recess Volunteer Coordinator Brian Riley at 240-620-5958 or e-mail him at bphbriley@aol.com if you have trouble accessing the interactive calendar. He can also send you a roster of other lunch & recess volunteers to use to find a substitute when you ar not able to be present for the period you select.
