The success of our school and of the Sligo Creek PTA depends on dedicated teachers and parents such as you. Our activities would not be possible without your financial support and the hard work of many volunteers. Once you have JOINED the PTA please take a moment to consider other ways in which you can support our efforts.

Volunteering for the PTA is a wonderful way to get to know your child's school, teachers, comrades and their families. Our kids love to see their parents out and about the school, and at special events. There are all kinds of ways in which you can be of help to the teachers and school community. ˜ Bring in Extras!
Can you contribute extra school supplies or snacks to meet classroom needs? Some families have difficulty for economic or other reasons and donations are always appreciated! Visit our classroom corner for a list of school needs.
˜ Get your Books and Wrapping Paper From Sligo Creek
Are you prepared for the holiday season? Do you have enough giftwrap? Do you need to find a person that special gift? Please take advantage of Sligo Creek's special Book Sale and Sally Foster Sale to purchase these items. Both programs will greatly benefit the school. Information on these special sales will be posted to your child's backpack in the Fall.

Generous donations from Sligo Creek families make up a big part of the PTA budget. The PTA usually sends out a fundraising appeal before the Winter holidays, although donations are accepted year-round. Please consider making a tax-deductible donation to your school PTA. Just like magic, there are many ways in which you can help generate rewards for Sligo Creek without reaching for your checkbook! For every dollar spent at merchants such as Safeway, Giant, Sniders, Target, the Apple Store, and others, a small donation will be made to the Sligo Creek PTA. The PTA is excited to offer 10 Year Anniversary t-shirts and school calendars for sale this year! Both are adorned with designs created by our creative SCES students! T-shirt and calendar order forms can be downloaded here. Please submit your order form and payment in an envelope marked "PTA t-shirt orders" via your child's backpack.
